Hand sketch
A drawing of my hand in biro. I thought that my own hand would be a good choice of subject as I can improve my drawing of it whenever I want to.

Old sketch
I sketched this in early 2012 and I have recently found it again.
Drawing faces aren't my strong point but I like to try.

Watercolours
I haven't used watercolours in a very long time so I've just started with small samples in my little sketchbook that I take everywhere.

Learning how to do measured drawings
Before I did these I had never drawn an accurate drawing of a person before and by being taught how to measure correctly using a pencil held up, I think that these aren't bad for a first attempt.

Batik on paper
I have never used wax or dyes, these also include a small amount of bleach to create some of the shadowing on the faces. I am quite happy with how these turned out.
Clay
Clay head, first attempt at using clay. I found it very challenging but I'm happy with this and it only took me about 3 hours to complete.

For these I have used a viewfinder on my work with ink and tissue paper. These are painted in black gouache and still need to be cut out.
